What is a "Family Physician? A family physician is devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. We provide continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages, sexes, diseases, and parts of the body. The aim of family medicine is to provide personal, comprehensive and continuing care for the individual. We deliver a range of acute, chronic and preventive medical care services. In addition to diagnosing and treating illness, We also provide preventive care, including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Family physicians also manage chronic illness, often coordinating care provided by other sub-specialists.

How do I make an appointment? To make an appointment you can call the main number at 251-867-6071 and ask for your preferred physician.

What form of payment is accepted? The D.W. McMillan Medical Center accepts all major health insurances. If you are uncertain whether or not a procedure is covered, please contact your insurance company. Co-Pays are required at time of service.
